Sunday services

St John’s, Stansted – 9.30am

St Mary’s, Birchanger – 11.15am (second and fourth week of the month)

St Mary’s, Farnham – 6.00pm (first and third week of the month)

Holy Trinity, Takeley and All Saints, Little Canfield – 9.30pm (though not on Remembrance Sunday – details below)

Sunday services will be held at Holy Trinity on the 9th, 23rd and 30th November, and at All Saints on the 2nd, 9th and 16th November. There will also be a simple Holy Communion service on 18th November at 12.00pm at All Saints.

In Loving Memory Service – St John’s, Stansted and Holy Trinity, Takeley, 3.00pm

Remembrance Sunday (9th November)

• St John’s, Stansted – Holy Communion at 9.30pm, and Act of Remembrance in the Memorial Gardens, 10.50am

• St Mary’s, Birchanger – Act of Remembrance in the churchyard, with the church service immediately afterwards

• St Mary’s, Farnham – Act of Remembrance in the churchyard, with the church service immediately afterwards

• Holy Trinity, Takeley – Act of Remembrance at the Jubilee Hall, followed by the church service (10 minute walk)

• All Saints, Little Canfield – Remembrance Service at 9.30am; Act of Remembrance at the American War Memorial, 10.45am

Other events

• Fireworks Night, Miller’s Field (next to Holy Trinity, Takeley), 7th November; gates open at 5.30pm, fireworks starts at 6.30pm

• Quiz Night, All Saints, Little Canfield, 15th November, 6.30pm

• Quiz Night, St John’s Church Hall, 22nd November, 7.00pm for 7.30pm start

• Advent Craft Morning, All Saints, Little Canfield, 22nd November, 10.00am-12.00pm
