        Rev Dr Colin Fairweather

Colin was born in Sidcup in Kent. He studied in Cambridge, Liverpool, and then back again in Cambridge for a PhD in English Literature. He became a teacher at a sixth form college in the East End of London for eleven years, before receiving a call to ordained ministry, and returning back to Cambridge for ordination training. Colin was ordained in 2016, and served out a curacy in Braintree.

                 Rev Helen Flack

Helen is Associate Priest working closely with Revd Colin across our group of churches. She has had a varied career path, starting out as a music teacher in London comprehensive schools and ending up as an airline pilot! Helen flew mostly from Stansted airport for 26 years before being ordained. Her particular interests are contemplative spirituality, social justice, animal welfare and inclusive theology. Helen is a self-supporting minister, living in Gt Dunmow and works part time in the team.

                 Hugh Mascetti

Hugh was born in Swansea in the late fifties and lived there until he went to university. He is married to Barbara, and they have two adult children. They moved to Takeley in 1994 and started to attend Holy Trinity Church. Hugh was very surprised when he was asked to consider becoming a minister. He has been a licensed lay minister at Takeley with Little Canfield since 2016. He keeps on trying to retire from teaching but never quite manages it. Hugh enjoys outdoor pursuits, music, literature, fireworks and lots of other things he never has enough time of.

                         Jo Pratt

Jo Pratt has been a Reader since 2004. She is licensed to Little Dunmow and the Stansted Deanery. Jo is a retired GP, married to Geoff. They have two married children and one grandchild who live in Essex. Jo says ‘I am really enjoying working with the 5 churches I have a real feeling of God’s presence with us all’
