Our Roving Congregation
Since 2009, ours has been a ‘roving congregation’, which means that we alternate our weekly worship between Holy Trinity, Takeley, and All Saints, Little Canfield. The two churches are part of a single parish, and also have a single governing body.
The advantage of this set-up is that we combine and maximise our witness in the local area, and can also encourage and support each other in our Christian lives. We are committed to the idea that ‘the church’ is not a building, but a community focused around Jesus Christ.
Within the parish, however, each church has its own distinct identity, and its own way of doing things. We look to cherish the things that are unique about our church community, as well as recognising that we are also stronger together.
The location of services throughout the course of this month can be found on our rotas page.
